Mercer International Inc. (Nasdaq: MERC) informiert, dass die Europäische Kommission eine Kartelluntersuchung im Zellstoffsektor eingeleitet hat. In dem Zusammenhang werden Nachprüfungen bei großen europäischen Zellstoffherstellern durchgeführt, einschließlich der deutschen Standorte des Unternehmens. Das Unternehmen kooperiert bei diesen Nachprüfungen.
